Part of her mandala series, this quilt by Kathy Ford was at the Hands All Around Quilt Guild's show in Amherst, Massachusetts. Don't think that the green is part of the piece. It hangs straight. It is hard to see in my very quick shot, but the center is a kantha type embroidered piece with an arched figure. Love the swirls that define the circle.
