Youngest of the clan voted for the first time. Glad, so glad, that we share the same politics, so that I could speak my mind and not fear offense. Now to wait for the morning's news. And, yes, I think of Susan B., hometown girl, and her fight on this momentous day.
It took me an hour to vote today -- not because of post-Sandy difficulties (I'm in a relatively unaffected pocket of NY) but because there were so many people there to vote. I sincerely wish that that happened more often.
