Washing Out
On the clothes line is the sketch for the piece I am thinking about. Since I added Solvey over some of the pieces, making sewing over the bits easier, I now have to hose the piece to wash the Solvey out . Makes using Solvey something to rethink, no?
I just ironed Solvey (the iron on tear away type) onto a piece that I am beginning to quilt - just to try and keep the wavy edges under control. That was the only solution I could think of, and I am hoping to leave most of the Solvey in place. Again to keep the wavy edges under control. If you have any alternative ideas, I would be delighted to hear them. I wish you luck with your wash out and look forward to seeing the completed piece.
