Everyday Collecting

I am looking at objects a lot these days. Collecting is a passion, and arranging things is not a random act. This haphazard group is from my friend's house. Symmetry reigns, if you take out that duck. But then, why would you?

    Those English johnson bros cups are what I grew up drinking tea from. My mother always said a cup should have a saucer. Now drink from pottery mugs.

    I can't pass up phoenix ware. Or much else in the way of pottery. Not enough cupboards, though.
