Garden Finds

I was told this was a flowering maple. Huh? Well, I looked it up and sure enough, it is a plant native to Brazil. Called a Chinese Paper Lantern plant. This from my friend's garden in Fairport. Lovely. Reminds me of my shibori fabric.
