Let's go back a few weeks to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the piece, shown in detail here, by El Anatsui. He used found objects like bottle caps and bottle wrappers to form this abstract work called "
Black River". Regardless of your interpretation of the title, the surface quality is mesmerizing.
