Mixing Dyes for Printing

Getting ready to print this week. So here's how I very unscientifically set up my dyes. My typical pallet is two reds, two yellows, two blues, black and chartreuse. That'll do just about all the range I need. For Virtual Print, the class makes up the dyes; I get to relax.

  1. I love your videos. You are really good at this. Very easy to follow along and see what you are doing. You make me miss having a wet studio where I could to all this.

    1. Thanks, Gerrie. It is the way I get my mind off of life's bumps and bruises. And printing with others, even virtually, good too.

    1. You're welcome Linda! I am a visual learner as well, so this is great for me to try. And I'm doing this for my class to get them ready to print via electronics!

  3. Hi Pat,
Are you giving virtual classes? Goodie goodie if you are, I'd love to know about them. Also, are you still scheduled for Sisters in Sept?? Fingers crossed they don't have to cancel.

    1. Hi Gayle,

These little videos are just a way to have my class get their studios ready for my Virtual Print class coming up this next week. If this works, I'll be scheduling another and you're welcome to join. If fact, I was teasing that it would be fun to have a class just for "repeat offenders" so to speak. So, if you're game, join us. Sisters? still on I believe, though anything can change.
