Back Home
While I was away, the exhibit that had "Duck's Breath" on view ended. Thanks to a friend, it is safely home again. I so love this little work, for its clarity, spareness, and directness. I'll have to make a companion -- but bigger!
Sometimes there is a figure or object that comes to mind. Guess it was the water and the motion, the breath would be the bubbles on the right. It just seemed to fit. I only give them a name so I can remember them -- numbers just would not do!
