Saris for Days

There were events on top of events for the wedding I was part of. Now that it is over, I've got a wardrobe of silks, embellished and trimmed. Definitely love the color, but I'm stumped what I'll do with the fabric. Guess I'll hold on till the next Indian occasion calls.

  1. People use sari silk for wet felting. Sell yours on eBay, I've bought several vintage ones from India there.

    1. Hi Laura,

I've done wet felting (what fun!) but just a few of the silks were thin. Most were dupioni or heavy brocade. They're lovely, and someday will be reinvented (or worn to another gig).
