The Last Dance
For week 52 of Quilt 2012, I took time today to spend with "The Last Dance". Working on these sketches (just 20" x 12") has taught me a tremendous amount. Thank you, Jeanne, for doing that blog.
So sorry to have just made it to your blog (through Paula Kovarik's); should have been here soon through SAQA. ANYWAY, these small "sketches" quilts are wonderful. Did you learn anything about yourself / your art as a result?
Thanks for joining me. I did learn an awful lot, and have used these small studies in many many ways. Sometimes for composition studies, and then made them larger, some to try a technique, some just to warm up. I loved this challenge, and regret I did not do more.
